Herpes is a viral infection and it can cause intense pain. After the vesicles subside, the neuralgia begins. If untreated the neuralgic pain can continue long term. No suppressive medications should be applied to the skin eruptions or this can lead to severe neuralgia, even long term.
Opening Dose: This dose is for chronic conditions where other homeopathic remedies have already been given. Before all Banerji Protocols for anyone over the age of 1 year you open with Camphora 200 (1 vial is included with your purchase). Just one (1) dose is given of 2 pills dissolved under the tongue.
Do Not Antidote: Keep the Camphora dose a minimum of 30 minutes before after any food, drink or teeth brushing. You must wait at least 24 hours before beginning any other dosing.
Banerji Protocol For Post-Herpetic Neuralgia – 2nd line (3 months)
- Rhus Tox 30C taken as 2 pills, dosed every 3 hours for 4 to 5 times daily.
- Dose less such as 2 to 3 times daily when acute pain is handled.
- This order contains 6 vials (80 pills per vial – Boiron) Rhus Tox to have enough for 3 months of dosing.
- Continue daily dosing for 3 months or until symptoms are improved.
- Keep all doses 30 minutes before or after food, drink and teeth brushing.
